Surealist impressions

I've uploaded a whole bunch of pictures I took during my trip in Argentina. I've just returned from around 3 weeks over there.

I spent some time in the Esteros del Iberá, in the northern province of Corrientes, some time in Buenos Aires and also spent a weekend with my family in our house in Villa Gesell. I had a great time. Very important and positive things are happening in Argentina and I will blog about that later on.

Forgive the title of the pictures with the file names, the description contains the information about the shot. It's all available in my flickr account.

Greetings from Virginia. Sorry to post this as a comment, but I couldn't find an e-mail address to communicate more directly. A while back you reviewed a Canon scanner, and mentioned that you had used it to scan some slides. My father has hundreds of 6x6 slides taken years ago on a Yashica Mat camera in the 60s and 70s, and I'd like to scan them for him. Can I scan medium format slides that are mounted, or will I have to take the transparency out of the cardboard frame? I note that the Canon scanner does not include a plastic holder for this size slide. Thanks!

So you asked a while back who I was going to support in the World Cup seeing as how Scotland failed to qualify (again!)

Now I know, I should say England, seeing as how they are the default football nation for us Scots, but EVEN I have to admit that they are solack lustre and uninspiring that I have to opt for.......

Seriously, the cup has your name on it this year and I willingly concede defeat because you are the only team keeping the game "beautiful" in this tournament :)

So tomorrow, against Holland, I guess I'll have to keep a low profile on the streets of Amsterdam.

It has the makings of a good match though, I reckon.....
